GO Architects is offering a full-time position with the following responsibilities & opportunities:

 

GO Architects Inc. (GOAI) is looking for a Business Development (BD)/Marketing/Proposal/Communications Coordinator who is passionate and intrigued by the architecture industry and primarily responsible for strengthening and growing client relationships and targeting new business opportunities for the company. This position also supports various marketing tasks under the partners’ guidance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to proposal writing and production, updating marketing collateral, designing and managing social media and website content, assisting with event planning, developing project stories, and coordinating project photoshoots.

Key Job Functions

  • Coordinate and actively participate in the company’s business planning process to define goals and objectives along with marketing, business development, and strategy to achieve goals, as well as budgeting for conferences and events, sponsorships, and memberships needed as part of the BD strategy

  • Manage opportunities and RFP/RFQ leads. Research and identify potential project opportunities by monitoring proposal/bid portals, client websites, and industry news. Lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of proposal efforts (RFP/RFQ analysis, SOQ/proposal generation, interview preparation, proposal submission, follow-ups, etc.)

  • Work under the direction of the partners to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other project and marketing collateral used to help the firm win work and to plan and coordinate GOAI’s involvement and participation in special events and public relations activities

  • Support BD efforts such as meetings, presentations, conferences, and industry events

  • Develop and own the office marketing and communications plan

  • Manage office and marketing supplies and support coordination of office events

  • Perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines

  • Understand and learn GOAI’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and capabilities

  • Assist with social media strategy and activities such as:

    • Creating marketing materials for both internal and external use
    • Creating content for social media using digital tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

    • Innovate communication campaigns

  • Generate comprehensive client profiles and engagement strategies, lead the development of presentation materials, and maintain a master client contact list

  • Develop a client-focused key presence at conferences and events relative to the company’s business plan

  • Proactively identify speaking opportunities and share conference insights

  • Grow and maintain a professional network aligned with business development strategy

  • Maintain and update website content. Organize and lead updates

  • Maintain resources including resumes, project sheets, and marketing drive organization

  • Coordinate award submissions

  • Create, implement, and develop document templates

  • Develop graphic branding on design projects as well as for the office’s marketing assets

  • Organize and participate in photo and video shoots of GOAI’s projects

  • Printing/reprographics coordination

  • Special projects as assigned

  • Have complete knowledge of the Adobe suite and have a keen eye for aesthetically pleasing layouts, presentations, and design of documents and marketing materials

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Relevant combination of experience, education, and/or training in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or another related field)

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a business development/marketing capacity

  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry strongly preferred

  • Experience managing and producing RFQ/P responses in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry

  • Digital marketing/business development experience

  • Track-record of engagement with professional/industry organizations and network building

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and PowerPoint Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam is preferred
